This store is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique, handmade leather Italian bag. It’s not your typical leather goods store that you’ll find on every street in Rome. Jaim, the owner, has curated a beautiful collection of bags, wallets, and other accessories from various Italian artists. The store offers a wide range of styles and colors, with something for everyone. Jaim and Tina were both very knowledgeable and friendly, making the shopping experience enjoyable as well.

Amazing shop for unique and high quality bags from Italy, beautiful craftsmanship and wide selection. The owner is great, very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought pleated tote bag with small pouch and he explained everything how to keep it in shape, clean and carry. Highly recommend this shop in Rome. You will not find similar collection in entire city.

There’s a reason this place has 5 stars. Purchased a Secrid wallet. The owner sufficiently explained the wallet doesn’t work well with heavier/thicker cards. I ignorantly assumed it just meant you could hold 1 less card due to the thickness but the heavier cards actually cause the cards to slip out more easily. I came back and he recognized us, apologized and sincerely wanted to help. He upgraded my wallet for free to a premium model that holds heavier cards as well. Very cool shop and deserves all the business in the world. 100% recommend!

I arrived in Rome 3 days ago w/ the intention of purchasing an Italian leather bag and/or belt. The first shop I encountered was Bags & Fruit. Funny name but the bags were absolutely gorgeous and very unique. I told myself I was not going to blow it out in the first shop, as I still have 2wks to travel, so continued on my way and stopped into a few other shops. All had beautiful bags but none as unique as the ones I saw in this shop. Returned today. The sales associate was extremely knowledgeable and sweet, not pushy @ all. The husband/wife owners were also wonderful. I wish there was a store like this in the US, but I don’t need to worry as they sell online and if you WhatsApp them they will photograph items of interest. 10/5 excellent experience! You can tell this shop is amazing by all the 5 star reviews. Thank you for my new Italian leather items!

This place caught my eye multiple times while walking by. Finally after the 3rd time I went it and was not disappointed. The smell of leather was wonderful, prices were reasonable due to them being handmade. So much to look at! I found myself shopping there twice. One for myself and the other for the family. Who doesn’t want leather goods handmade in Italy! Perfect gift for any occasion. Staff were super friendly and made us feel so welcomed. I recommend to anyone. 🤩

By far, the best leather shop in Rome! I was there over six times. There was not another store I visited that had the authentic leather smell, beautiful color selection of Bags and Fruits. I felt like I was at a farm stand! Everything seemed so fresh and beautiful Not only that, the owners are so nice and do an excellent job selecting from fine local Italian craftsman. Not made in large factories by other countries. Each piece is truly a work of art. My friends and family loved the items I purchased for them and I get so many compliments on my purses and backpacks. Will be headed back in February for another round.

So I was drawn into the store recently while in Rome, as I was meandering around, because there was a sign in the window about LOVE ❤️ and when I walked in, I was very pleasantly surprised! All I can say is that in a sea of the same (tourist items of questionable manufacturing practices) why fit in when you can be different?! Bags & Fruits has beautiful UNIQUE things! The owner sources interesting, stylish and fashion forward bags, pouches, wallets and more - all in great colors, including fabric and leathers and metallic leathers, varying shapes and sizes - many from different designers and regions all around Italy - and at fair prices. And if you need some great restaurant reservations he’s a wonderful source of information! He did not miss the mark! I would say do not miss this gem of a shop. And take that from a New York City resident and lover of beautiful things! Happy shopping!
